In the majority of cases you work as a freelancer, for example in photo studios, agencies, at fashion shootings for catalogues, for ad agencies, for the film industry, television ads or music clips, at events, at concerts, and much more. Further opportunities include working for cosmetic companies, publishing companies and perfumeries. The road to success will, however, entail a lot of hard work,  self confidence, creativity, flexibility and the ability to cope with pressure. Like our trainers, continuing your training and abilities is essential to be up to date with the most recent trends and fashions. Right from the start it is important to try out and experiment with many things in order to make up an expressive and comprehensive portfolio. Extensive experience and acquiring a good reputation is essential. Especially at the beginning, a good portfolio is important when it comes to making a good and lasting impression for photographers, companies, and agencies. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary, however having hair dressing experience is an advantage.
